Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Denny Tsai.

As a designer, I believe it's crucial to hear other people's thoughts in order to weigh them against my own. When designing with a team I always question "why" and as a design leader I expect the same. If people don't understand, then they cannot believe, and if they cannot believe, then they cannot have passion. I believe that design is passion with a direction and a goal. Without it, there is no design.

I want to hear other people's beliefs and work with others as passionate as I am about design. And I want to use design to share my passion with the world.

Personally I don't believe that I can be a good designer without experiencing the world. I'm an avid photographer and look for every opportunity to take out my camera and capture a moment. It's all about discovery. After all how can one improve their design outlook if their personal outlook is stifled by monotony. Other hobbies that I enjoy include cooking and traveling. New flavors and venues always excite me and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate these experiences into my design philosophy.

Even though I graduated from Art Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in product design, I consider myself a student of life and all the lessons it has to teach.
